iPhone Duo screen size comparison
Pick the phones and see their displays side by side, drawn to the same scale. Diagonals, pixels and ppi are Apple's published figures; the width and height of each display are calculated from them.
| Diagonal | Resolution (px) | ppi | |
|---|---|---|---|
| iPhone Duo (closed, outer) | 5.4" | 1398 × 2034 | 460 |
| iPhone Duo (open, inner) | 7.6" | 1878 × 2670 | 430 |
| iPhone 17 | 6.3" | 1206 × 2622 | 460 |
| iPhone Air | 6.5" | 1260 × 2736 | 460 |
How to read the comparison
The closed iPhone Duo has a 5.4-inch outer display, smaller than the iPhone 17's 6.3 inches. Open it and you get a 7.6-inch inner display.
Diagonals, resolutions and pixel densities are the numbers Apple publishes. Width, height and area are our own arithmetic from those numbers: handy for comparing, but not a measurement of the glass.
Why the numbers differ
The outer display is 1398 × 2034 pixels at 460 ppi, the same pixel density as the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air. The inner display is 1878 × 2670 pixels at 430 ppi.
Apple lists the iPhone Duo at 254 g, against 177 g for the iPhone 17 and 165 g for the iPhone Air.
